This 2001 ExplorerSportTrac was factory equipped with only a HitchBall mount on the stock RearBumper, rated 3500\350Lbs Trailer\Tongue. Considering a LiteDuty utility Trailer satisfies my occasional towing needs & high Mileage+Age on this original Engine+Tranny, I will likely never tow a Trailer heavier than 3500\350Lbs with this vehicle; however I have installed the items depicted & denoted below to reinforce the 3500\350Lb DeadWeightHitch capacity & allow towing up to 5080\508Lbs with a DistributingHitch. An Aluminum 4RowRadiator has replaced the OE PlasticTanked 2RowRadiator, & a 2nd stock TransCooler has been installed parallel with the OE TransCooler, also reinforcing towing capacity & general durability.

As of this 2022 writing, still running the FactoryOE 4Leaf 1200LbRatedPerSide RearSprings shown below;
when required, will likely replace those with optional HeavyDuty 5Leaf 1650LbRatedPerSide RearSprings.
