PCV VALVE REPLACEMENT
- ~ With engine cool, locate PCV valve on DriverSide ValveCover BackEnd, close to FireWall.
- ~ Remove the large plastic elbow from the PCV valve.
- ~ Pinch+Plug the 2 small coolant hoses on the PCV Horseshoe with ViseGrips+Bolts.
- ~ Slide off the hose clamps & remove coolant lines from the HorseShoe.
- ~ This PCV\Intake coolant loop operates parallel with the heater to prevent winter icing.
- ~ Remove old PCV valve with 1/3 CCW turn.
- ~ Insert new PCV valve with 1/3 CW turn & reinstall above items.
- ~ Inspect PCV components for broken\cracked\loose Hoses+Tubes+Clamps.
- ~ Idle engine & listen for PCV component leaks.
